Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist to join their team in Avondale, Arizona. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage both payroll processes and general HR functions seamlessly. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute significantly to the organization's HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll, including timekeeping, wage calculations, deductions, and reporting.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding pay, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate coordination, and onboarding.
  • Assist with benefits administration and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Partner with finance to reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies.
  • Contribute to HR policies, employee relations, and performance management support.
  • Assist with purchase order receiving and ERP data entry.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll and general HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll/HRIS platforms such as ADP or Paylocity.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with benefits administration and multi-state payroll.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes, audits, and filings.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary:

$62,000 - $65,000 annually
